Vertical 02 · New-hire readiness

Move approved hires from accepted to payroll-ready.

VINE coordinates the administrative handoff after hiring so approved drivers receive orientation instructions, complete required documents and TRC compliance items, and enter the client’s authorized payroll workflow with fewer missing details and set-up delays.

What VINE handles

  • Schedule and support new-hire orientation using client-approved materials and procedures.
  • Send orientation instructions, confirmations, reminders, and approved access details.
  • Track TRC compliance items for each new hire and flag anything outstanding for client review.
  • Track attendance, completion, rescheduling, and missing onboarding requirements.
  • Create authorized employee profiles in the client’s payroll system, such as ADP, using verified hiring records.
  • Enter approved payroll set-up information, direct-deposit details, tax forms, classifications, pay groups, and related fields.
  • Review employee information for administrative completeness before the first payroll cycle and escalate inconsistent or unauthorized requests.

Client-controlled decisions

The DSP retains final authority over employment status, compensation, employee classification, tax treatment, pay groups, direct-deposit approval, sensitive employee-data changes, and payroll approval.

Important service boundary

VINE performs administrative set-up using client-approved and employee-provided information. VINE does not provide tax, legal, payroll, or employment-law advice and does not independently approve sensitive employee changes.
